This Thursday the museum said goodbye to Mary Beth Jacobson as she official retires from the DCHS board of Directors. Mary Beth has served as a board member and curator to the society for over 20 years. She is known for her outstanding dedication to the society and museum. Every year she decorated the museum from top to bottom for the Christmas holiday season. She was instrumental in establishing the annual Lawn Party, children’s tree trimming and many other events. Mary Beth’s plans include moving to her childhood home in McFarland to be closer to family and Friends. She will be missed!
